Catching Bodies
Published in Hardcover by North Atlantic Books (July, 1985)
Author: Phillip Mahony
Average review score:

Phillip Mahoney demonstrates the art of poetry
With the blast of a 12 guague point blank. His work comes straight off the street, undiluted by romanticism or the glorification of violence. Its an attempt to convey the life of a beat coop without cliche or comedy. Mahoneys poetry is a self defense reaction against the unbearable senslessness of suffering. He cannot save souls, he can only catch the bodies

Cedar Grove
Published in Paperback by Arcadia (April, 2001)
Authors: Phillip Jaeger and Philip Edward Jaeger
Average review score:

Images of America Cedar Grove
This is a very high quality pictorial describing places, people and events in Cedar Grove, N.J. A very well done specialty item that should appeal only to those who are interested in Cedar Grove, Essex County or New Jersey history. For any of you who were raised there, as I was, and moved away, as I have, this book is just wonderful for the memories. Best of all, no Sopranos here, although the popular HBO program is set primarily in Essex County.

A Celebration of Customs & Rituals of the World
Published in Hardcover by Facts on File, Inc. (April, 1996)
Authors: Philip Wilkinson, Robert R. Ingpen, and Phillip Wilkinson
Average review score:

The colorful diversity of ceremonies.
"Celebration" is the right word.
Wilkinson and Ingpen portray the world's ceremonies of development (from birth to death), surviving (hunting and harvesting, eating and drinking, healing), socializing (initiation, gift-giving, dispute-settlement), and aspects of spirituality in this clearly written, beautifully illustrated work.
The ceremonial dress from all areas of the world is particularly striking, and the reader begins to see the universality of human experience beneath the colorful variations of cultural expressions; "perfect symbols of the unity of the family of mankind".
With a Calendar of Customs, suggestions for further reading, and an excellent index, this well produced, generously sized work would make an excellent gift for children as well as adults. Highly recommended.

Censored 1997: The News That Didn't Make the News-The Year's Top 25 Censored News Stories (Serial)
Published in Paperback by Seven Stories Press (April, 1997)
Authors: Peter Phillips, Jim Hightower, Tom Tomorrow, and Project Censored
Average review score:

Enlightening, yet scary
This book is wonderful. It describes in detail the most important, yet censored stories of the year. I learned more from this than i learn in a years worth of news. The coverups and secrecy scares me, showing vividly how manipulative media, politics and industry really are. Truly a great buy. It is your duty to read this amazing book

Choice Is Always Ours
Published in Paperback by Theosophical Publishing House (June, 1975)
Author: Dorothy B. Phillips
Average review score:

Amazing
This is one of those books that never stays on the shelf. In fact, it is almost always lent out. Which is why I bought this copy. My husband already owned a copy, but we wanted a second one so we could always have one on hand. It is a collection of spiritual readings from many sources. Selections include Socrates, Jung, Freud, Jesus Christ, Saint Francis of Assissi... The selections all have one thing in common, a search for Spiritual Truth.

Cliffs Quick Review Anatomy and Physiology
Published in Paperback by Cliffs Notes (August, 1997)
Author: Phillip E., Phd. Pack
Average review score:

Excellent summary of human anatomy and physiology.
Phillip Pack's "Anatomy and Physiology" is a comprehensive and well-organized summary of the subject of human anatomy and physiology. It should be very useful for students seeking a brief overview of the subject, as well for instructors who do not wish for their lectures to be tied down to a particular textbook.

Clinical Manual of Urology
Published in Paperback by McGraw Hill Text (January, 1994)
Authors: Phillip M. Hanno, Alan J. Wein, and Philip M. Hanno
Average review score:

Great book! Best of the urology overviews out there.
I can not say enough good things about this little book. It is both a very well put together overview of urology, while still being very useful to both lower and upper level residents AND medical students. It covers many of the common problems seen in urology in such a way as to be useful in day to day patient managment as well as giving a nice overview of facts that may be helpful for the urology boards. This little guy is a very easy read while at the sametime time being full of helpful info. As overviews of urology goes, this is the best book out there.

Cock-A-Doodle-Doo
Published in Paperback by St. Martin's Press (March, 1996)
Authors: Philip Weiss and Phillip Weiss
Average review score:

Really funny portrayal of New York phonies.
This book was hilarious, but more than that, it gave me a real understanding of how the media and pols work today. Anyone who read Primary Colors should check this out - far better job of same stuff.

The Coins of Pontius Pilate (Marco Polo Monographs series)
Published in Hardcover by Shangri-La Publications (01 July, 2001)
Authors: Jean Phillpefontallie, Sheldon Gosline, Joan-Phillip Fontonille, Sheldon Lee Gosline, and Jean-Philippe Fontanille

Incredible study of Pilate and Jesus!
This is probably the first book ever to have color plates of coins... and in vivid detail. All aspects of Pilate's life are studied here, including the controversy over his coins appearing on the TURIN SHROUD!
